I built Prompt Advantage after spending many years as a recruiter in environments where the work never really slows down and time is always in short supply.
Recruiting has a way of filling every available moment. You build workflows as you go, rely on what’s in your head, and keep moving because there’s rarely space to pause and ask whether the work could feel easier or more sustainable.
Then I was given something rare: time.
That pause happened just as AI started showing up in everyday recruiting work. Not as a big announcement or future promise, but quietly—changing how information could be gathered, organized, and understood. Having time during that shift allowed me to slow down and think differently about how I worked.
Because I come from both recruiting and engineering, I approached that moment with curiosity rather than urgency. I wasn’t trying to replace human judgment. I wanted to support it. I spent time learning prompt engineering and carefully building AI-driven workflows that matched how recruiters actually think, decide, and move through their day.
I rebuilt my own workflows piece by piece. I looked closely at repetitive tasks, judgment-heavy moments, and the mental load that comes from holding so much context at once. What emerged were tools that brought more clarity, reduced friction, and created space to focus on what actually matters.
What surprised me most was how it felt.
The work felt calmer.
Decisions felt clearer.
And I finally had time back.
At some point, it became clear that this shouldn’t be something only I benefit from. Most recruiters and sourcers don’t have the time—or the technical background—to explore AI this way. And they shouldn’t have to.
I’ve done the learning, experimenting, and refining so others don’t have to. What’s left are tools that feel approachable, practical, and immediately useful—no technical expertise required.
